This year, the Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association (BVPA) has reimagined our annual fundraising event by combining the River Symposium and State of the River Meeting into one impactful community gathering. The State of the River Symposium will bring together community leaders, environmental professionals, educators, advocates, and residents for an engaging experience focused on learning, collaboration, and action.

Centered around the theme "Connected by Water: Reimagining Our Watersheds," this year's event is designed to foster meaningful conversations about watershed planning, design, and stewardship. Attendees will explore regional case studies, participate in a moderated panel discussion, and connect with organizations through exhibits and partner tables showcasing innovative work in conservation and preservation.

The evening will conclude with a networking reception featuring drinks and light bites, providing an opportunity to build partnerships, share ideas, and strengthen our collective commitment to the future of our watershed.
